The Netherlands was there.

Hundreds of visitors passed by the Dutch stand to guess the weight of a Cheese wheal and to obtain information about The Netherlands. Charming ladies dressed in traditional Dutch costumes distributed Dutch cookies (“speculaas”) and brochures.

The contestant guessing the right weight (11, 660 grams) got the cheese as prize. The city of Tampere will receive 5000 tulip bulbs as a gift of our Embassy.

Let’s repeat this successful event when Tampere celebrates its 25th anniversary of the flower festival next year.
